For those of who followed me through my dieting journey, you know I was on the Jump Start plan (see earlier posts). This is a variation of that plan, although like with any diet, please consult a doctor.
What I did initially:
If you’re going to do mainly liquids and one meal a day, you can do this:
Breakfast: Fulfill fiber drink
Pudding/shake supplement
Healthy weight pill
Multivitamin
B-12 pill
Snack: Pudding/shake supplement
Lunch: 2 starches (1/2 Akmak cracker board or 2 slices of unseasoned melba snack toast or Stella d’Oro snack stick)
1 fruit (usually I had an apple or handful of grapes)
Healthy weight pill
Omega supplement
B-complex pill
Soup mix
Snack: Snack bar
Dinner: 3 oz of lean cooked meat (no oils, fats, or salts)
2 servings of veggies or salad- use red wine vinegar instead of salad dressing
Healthy weight pill
Fulfill fiber drink
Snack: Pudding/shake supplement (before 8 pm)
You can have 2 servings of diet soda a day. Drink 64 oz of water, but no more than 80 oz a day.

Why hello there 129.... and playing dress up
the 120s! wow... it's been a LONG time since I've been there. Getting closer to my goal!
As my clothes (mainly my work clothes) begin to loosen up, I've started feeling like a little kid playing dress-up. My size 8P tailored-fit Banana Republic pants are now so loose, I have to hike them up past my belly button and secure them with a belt, which creates that lovely bunched up waist look. I really do think now is the time to get my pants altered, especially since some friends have affectionately begun teasing me about it.
But, I'm not complaining :) At least they're not teasing me because the pants are too tight, right?
For fun, I'll take a picture and post it tonight. You'll have to let me know what you think.

Loooonnnngggg overdue post!!!

So sorry guys...I haven't posted in a VERY long time. No, it's not because I fell off the dieting wagon. In fact, I've been doing very well. After 8 weeks on the Medical Weight Loss Clinic "Jump Start" plan, I've lost 30 lbs! Only 10 more to go, woo-hoo!
Current measurements:
Bust- 37" (haven't lost much there, thank goodness)
Waist- 29"
Hips- 37"
I am pleased so far with my results, but part of me is still in denial. I was in denial when I weighed 161 and wore a size 10/12. As I've been losing the weight, I can tell, but part of me still doesn't believe I'm actually going to fit into the smaller sizes. It's like when you watch shows like "What Not to Wear," and Clinton and Stacy are making over the woman who lost 25 lbs, but still wears the bigger clothes.
I sometimes feel like that. It's almost unbelievable to me that I've finally done it. I've finally gotten up off my lazy bum and did something to take control of my health and physical and mental well-being. I wear a size 6 now, and it's been 6 years since I've been that size. It's exciting for me, but I still sometimes see the bigger girl, even though the weight is coming off.
I'm going to end this post with a current picture and a promise to post more often. I am not quite done with this diet yet! :)

Supercut Abs and Cardio Twist
In December, I got a Supercut Abs exercise dome and DVD, as well as the CardioTWISTER machine (both from HSN). I'd been using the CardioTWISTER, and just started using the Supercut Abs system.
Holy moly is that ever a good workout, and the segments are not too long to be torcherous, but long enough for me to really feel it.

I went to the clinic for my check in and here are the stats:
Weight- 144 (down 17 lbs)
Waist measurement: 30.5” (down 5.5”)
Bust: 37” (down 1.75”)- at least I didn’t lose too much there (hahaha )
Hips: 38” (down 4.5”)
BP: 120/68
Woohoo!!!! I was told that I am doing very well. I think my weight might have been even lower if it weren’t for this darn PMS bloat….grrrr.
I also got my first vitamin B-12 shot today, so my energy level should increase even more...yay!
Tomorrow, we have a health risk assessment at work, so it will be interesting to get the other information (cholesterol, etc.) and compare....

2.5 more pounds lost!
Just weighed in and here are the stats:
Weight: 146
BP: 110/72
I asked the dietician about what to do on the days where I feel more hungry. She said that adding more veggies or a little bit more lean protein OR another nutrient are fine options. So, I did something right :)
